Level Doesn't Matter

Some Yoga studios delineate students by
levels, but in my experience, each student
progresses in a very individual way on the
Yoga journey.

A student new to yoga,
may be starting to learn poses, linking the
breathe and movement, learning breathing
practices,
and developing body awareness.

As students continue in yoga
and are familiar with poses and the breathe,
they invariably becoming aware of new found
strengths and abilities, while also identifying
conditioned movement patterns and chronic
tension. Their practice begins to address those
issues.

Student who maintain a regular practice over
time can move
through yoga sequences with knowledge
and care, and start to find new experiences
in each pose and refine their practice to suit
their own individual needs.
